Champneys Tring enjoys a rich history as the United Kingdom's first health farm. The naturopath Stanley Life opened Tring in 1925. Tring pioneered the concept of treating the whole person: mind, body and soul, bringing holistic health into the public's awareness.

The picturesque Rothschild Mansion is set in 170 acres of parklands. Tring retains a period mansion grace with a classical music room and a light and airy morning room. The drawing room has a refreshment bar and the games room offers snooker, chess and board games. The delightful grounds are ideal to explore with rambles and bicycle rides and there is even an outdoor Jacuzzi to relax in. Champneys International College of Health and Beauty is also situated within the grounds.

Tring offers a vast range of beauty treatments from leading product houses and complementary therapies like Colour therapy and Ayurvedic treatments. Tring has recently introduced the UK's first Kriotherapy chamber which has been very popular in Eastern Europe. This is a chamber which you enter first at -60 degrees C and then at -135 degrees C. This enhances sports performance and can aid depression, general wellbeing and fertility problems.
