The Aqua Sana Spa at Oasis Whinfell Forest is tucked away in a corner of our Village in the heart of the Lake District; stepping inside is like transporting yourself to the Far East as you are surrounded by the influences of Bali and its cultural beauty.

Oasis Whinfell's Aqua Sana includes 16 individually themed treatment rooms, a serail suite, and a wide range of spa facilities.

Globally-Inspired Spa Facilities

We've taken influences from around the world to create a relaxing and inspiring environment in which to indulge. After warming your body slowly in the Reflexology Footbaths, slip into the mild Laconium; its essence of orange has a purifying and detoxifying effect, before progressing to the Greek Herbal Bath, a gentle sauna which infuses the essences of chamomile, rosemary and sage to calm and soothe the mind. For a steamy and aromatic atmosphere venture into the Turkish Hammam with its characteristic Ottoman blue and yellow tiling, or the Balinese Multi-Steam Bath, which with its subtle aroma of jasmine helps to relax the mind, body and soul. Sit back in the Japanese Salt Bath; its mix of mineral salts and mint essence will help to clear the head. Finish with the traditional Tyrolean Sauna, which has a deep cleansing effect as the body heats up. Take flakes of ice from the Ice Fountain as you leave the sauna to stimulate the circulation and feel your body tingle all over.

Take your time as you experience the spa rooms; choose from the many sensations of the multi-sensory showers and take a dip in the spa pool with its hydrotherapy jets, then relax in the tranquil setting of the Zen Garden or Tyrolean Garden to breathe in the fresh air of the forest.

Aqua Sana's treatments benefit from the natural plant extracts used in both Elemis and Decleor product ranges. Using the finest ingredients these products aim not only to give you healthier skin but also to lift your spirits and promote a sense of well-being.

We are also amongst a select group of spas offering Carita treatments, which combine exclusive 'Pro-Lift' technology and Carita's specialised 'Progressif' skin care products to produce an unparalleled anti-aging effect.

Day Visits

Our Spas are no longer exclusively for the pleasure of our short break guests and we are now pleased to open our doors to a limited number of non-resident guests.

Our Day Guests may choose a package, which includes a treatment, but all can enjoy the spa facilities, lunch in the conservatory, and access to our gym.
